Description
BGD KISS Load Paraglider: Tandem Precision with Maximum Efficiency
When professional tandem pilots demand safety, performance, and ease of use, the BGD KISS Load Paraglider delivers on every front. Designed specifically for heavy-duty tandem flying, this wing offers reliability, control, and the efficiency needed for daily commercial operations or experienced recreational use.https://www.instagram.com/paragliding_explorer_wing_shop?igsh=bGg2dWxqNzQ1bzF4&utm_source=qr
From the first takeoff, the KISS Load responds with crisp, predictable behavior. Because of its carefully tuned profile and BGD’s signature Cord Cut Billow technology, inflation is smooth and steady—even in light or crosswind conditions. Additionally, the canopy rises uniformly and settles overhead effortlessly. As a result, both pilot and passenger experience calm, confident launches every time.https://paraglidingexplorer.com/product/nova-ventus-harness/
KISS Load’s handling BGD KISS Load Paraglider
Moreover, the KISS Load’s handling is remarkably intuitive. Even under full load, it responds to brake inputs with agility and precision. Therefore, the pilot enjoys full authority in both thermic climbs and dynamic turns. And although the wing was built to carry weight, it retains the playful, responsive feel that BGD wings are known for.
Furthermore, the wing’s glide performance sets it apart in the tandem category. It maintains energy beautifully through transitions, allowing for longer flights and efficient routes. Because of this, commercial tandem pilots can complete more flights in varying conditions while conserving fuel and reducing stress.
Another standout feature is the wing’s ability to remain calm in active air. Thanks to its well-distributed internal structure and high-stability arc, collapses are rare—and easily managed if they occur. On top of that, the KISS Load includes reinforced attachment points and durable materials to ensure long-term performance even under heavy use.
color-coded risers
Additionally, the color-coded risers and intuitive line layout simplify pre-flight checks. So, setup becomes quicker and more reliable—critical when time and efficiency matter. Plus, its wide weight range ensures compatibility with different harnesses, motor units, and passenger sizes, giving pilots unmatched flexibility.
In conclusion, the BGD KISS Load Paraglider is a high-performance tandem wing engineered for heavy payloads and daily use. It combines responsive handling, excellent launch behavior, and strong durability into one professional-grade package. Whether you’re flying for fun, for training, or for business, the KISS Load ensures every flight is smooth, safe, and satisfying.

- Triple finger diagonals
- Variable Cell Widths
- Weight-optimised ribs
Sizes & in flight weights (kg)
The KISS’ roots are in hike-and-fly but it’s an excellent soaring and thermaling wing for lighter pilots, or loaded up in the hands of more experienced pilots, it’s an agile, big-grin machine, perfect for strong-wind soaring. The smallest, 16m size can be flown by 50kg pilots with excellent passive safety; but it can also be flown at 90kg, where it will be fast and dynamic, the realm of experienced pilots.
The graphic below is meant as a guide to help you choose the right size. If in doubt, seek expert advice!
TRIPLE FINGER DIAGONALS
Across the whole chord of the profile we have designed three-piece diagonal supports that pass through the holes in other ribs. They ensure structural integrity by avoiding cloth bias from the ribs and creating a more solid wing even when brake is applied. This is particularly important near the trailing edge since the profile is thin and the diagonal ribs are shallow supporting higher loads.
WEIGHT-OPTIMISED RIBS
We have maintained the strength and rigidity of the ribs while removing unnecessary material. This means less weight for no increase in cost or reduction in strength of the wing. The hole positioning and size depends on the loads taken locally by the sail, and it is thanks to recent developments in our software that it is now possible to accurately calculate this.
TWIN B-TABS
Following our structural analysis and many simulations, we found that by increasing the number of B tabs, but using fewer tabs (and lines) overall, we could improve the structural stability of the sail while reducing drag and improving performance.
ELLIPTICAL CELL OPENINGS
We have found that elliptical cell openings give better lower surface tension making for smoother inflation, and re-inflation after collapses.
VARIABLE CELL WIDTHS
By using cell openings of different widths, we have been able to precisely balance the forces on the glider while keeping weight to a minimum
